Do you see the eyes emoji and are curious to know what it means? Here, we have explained the eyes emoji on your Snapchat Story.
Snapchat recently introduced Snapchat Plus, a subscription plan which lets users explore some premium features. It is a paid plan with features like the Snapchat Plus Badge and Solar System.
Snapchat Plus comes with a free trial for Snapchat Plus that lets you try all the features for seven days. Afterwards, you can either subscribe for $3.99 monthly or cancel your subscription.

The eyes, eye emoji, or the double eyes denoted as “👀” is one of the features in the Snapchat+ plan. It can be found alongside a number count attached to it on a story.
If you post a story and want to see who viewed it, you will notice the eye emoji attached to your story. The emoji also has a count attached to it.
Although both the digit and the emoji are related, do you know what they mean?
Below, we have explained what the eye emoji “👀” on your Snapchat story means.
What do the eyes mean on your Snapchat story?
The eye emoji on your Snapchat story is called Story Rewatch Indicator. It tells you how many people have rewatched your story.
Also, the count next to it tells the exact number of people who rewatched the story. If you post a story and see the eye icon together with a count, say “5”, it means that five friends have rewatched your story.
However, the Story Rewatch Indicator only considers a user per story rewatched, not the number of times they did. This means that it does not show the number of times a user rewatched a story.
The implication is that if a friend rewatches your story more than once, they only count once.
Snapchat Plus lets you see people who rewatched your story, including private and shared stories. However, the “Story Rewatch Count” option needs to be enabled.
Please note that the Story Rewatch Indicator does not let you know which friends are rewatching your story, the same way it doesn’t specify the number of times a user rewatches your story. You can only see the number of users that rewatched them.
How to enable the eyes on your Snapchat story
Launch the Snapchat mobile app and visit your profile. Choose the “Snapchat+” membership card and select the “Story Rewatch Count” to enable or disable it.
To use the Story Rewatch Indicator feature, you must subscribe to the Snapchat+ plan. However, the plan comes with a 7-day free trial which can be used to try all the features.
Conclusion
The Snapchat+ premium service costs $3.99 per month. However, it has only been rolled out in nine states. Only users within these countries can use the service yet.
