If you want to call an already saved contact, you must go to your address book to begin. Go to Contacts, located on the bottom menu from the Phone app. This will automatically switch to the Contacts screen. Here, you will see the list of contacts you have saved on your phone.

To identify a contact, scroll downwards to locate the contact to call or use the search bar above the screen to search for the name of the saved contact. Once you find the contact, select it to see the contact information. To call them, select the Call icon on the screen.

To call someone from the Favorites screen, tap the contact to send.

Other apps for making calls

A feature common to social media applications nowadays is the calling option. Most popular social platforms have the voice and video calling option available in the app.

Apps like WhatsApp, Messenger, FaceTime, Zoom and Google Meet offer chat and calling features. You can use it to contact family, friends and close ones. Note that using any of these apps requires an active internet connection on your device.
