FB Stories is arguably a total failure, and as usual, the social network giant, Facebook, has come up with a solution to bring back life to the fallen feature. Honestly, I’m not actually a big fan of Instagram Stories, but this might change because of this new feature.
Instagram Stories is an online photo-sharing platform owned by Facebook Inc, with over 250 million daily active users. Now, seeing how successful this platform is, Facebook is trying to revive its own FB Stories by rolling out a new feature that allows Instagram Stories to be cross-posted onto Facebook.

When capturing a Story, you will see a new Facebook option when choosing where to post your Stories. Once Facebook is chosen, the pic or video will appear as any other story on Facebook. Meanwhile, there’s no way to post from Facebook to Instagram, but apparently, Facebook is looking into it.
In case you don’t know the meaning of Stories, it is a feature that lets users post photos and videos that disappears after 24 hours. Instagram letting you share your Stories on Facebook is a bold move to encourage users to create and share more content on both platforms.
Instagram Stories currently has around 250 million daily active users, topping even that of Snapchat’s 166million users.
