How to Change Name on Truecaller
- Launch the Truecaller app on your device and tap the hamburger menu icon on the (top-left for Android) or bottom-right for iOS.
- Next, tap the edit icon next to your name and phone number. You can find it as Edit Profile on iOS devices.
- Now, proceed to change your name by editing the first and last name fields.
How to Delete Your Truecaller Account
- From the Truecaller app, tap the hamburger menu icon on the top-left on Android and bottom-right on iOS, and Tap Settings.
- Next, go to Privacy Center and scroll downwards to find and tap the Deactivate option.
After deactivation, if you are using an iOS device, you will see the Keep My Data and Delete My Data options. Choosing the Keep My Data option means your contact will still be available but you can no longer alter how you are found on Truecaller. Delete My Data option on the other hand will wipe your data off the Truecaller’s database.
How to Edit or Remove Tags on Truecaller
- Open Truecaller and move to edit your name and phone number.
- Now, scroll downwards to find the Add tag field and choose the tag you want.
How to Create a Business Profile on Truecaller
Truecaller business profile gives information about your business to people. It shares details like business address, business website, email address, opening and closing hours with other Truecaller users.
To create a business profile, you can find the Create A Business Profile option at the bottom as a new user. Existing Truecaller users need to tap the hamburger icon and move to edit their details.
- Launch the Truecaller app on your device and tap the hamburger menu icon on the (top-left for Android) or bottom-right for iOS.
- Next, tap the edit icon next to your name and phone number. You can find it as Edit Profile on iOS devices.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Create A Business Profile option. You will be asked to agree to the terms of service and privacy policy. Tap Continue, enter the business details and tap Finish once you are done.
Hurray!! Your business profile is now on Truecaller and users can now see your business information.
